Tomoko Matsuoka, who continues her artistic practice under the theme of “The Materialization of Will,” has been selected and featured in “ART & BUSINESS PLAYERS FILE,” a joint project by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Forbes JAPAN that highlights players who create value through their sensibilities. Additionally, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of her career, she will hold a solo exhibition in Nihonbashi starting March 10.

In conjunction with this, a solo exhibition commemorating her 5th anniversary will open on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
The 5th-anniversary solo exhibition, titled “I Must Give You a Name,” presents an experimental space that liberates individual impulses through “devices” of expression, in contrast to modern society’s pursuit of efficiency and “correct answers.”
