Comment: I wanted to depict the beauty of the future beyond the war. I came to express the inherent beauty of Ukraine in the form of a bouquet of flowers. The base of the work is black, but there is also a blank space, expressing a landscape where it is still dark before dawn, but the light is not lost.
This piece was the highest bid at a charity auction held on 06/16/2022. https://www.facebook.com/tomoko.matsuoka.9083/posts/5251466148269847
We were up all night almost from the day before, and we started live painting at Miura Beach at 4 in the morning and carried in at GINZA SIX, so it was hard work, but we did our best.
